Tom Gorman has an impressive record of successes in the pop music industry. He has worked for nearly twenty years in senior positions at major music labels, including Capitol Records, Chrysalis Records, and Private Music, a unit of BMG Entertainment.
Gorman has extensive experience in radio and video promotions, marketing, and music sales. He has well-established relationships in the major US industry centers, having lived and worked seven years in New York and eleven in Los Angeles. Gorman has directed numerous successful campaigns that established new artists and furthered the careers of previously established artists, including multi-platinum artists, Tina Turner, Duran Duran, Arrested Development, and Sinead O'Connor.
Moreover, Gorman prides himself on successfully hiring and developing many of today's music industry leaders including senior executives at Elektra Entertainment/Warner Music Group, Blue Note/EMI, Hollywood Records/Disney, Palm Pictures, and Atlantic Records.
